IATF 16949: 2016 — 21 Mandatory Procedure
SOME FACTS ABOUT IATF16949: 2016 IATF 16949:2016 was published by the “International Automotive Task Force ” (IATF) On October 3rd, 2016, supersedes and replaces the current ISO/TS 16949, defining the requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry.
- IATF 16949:2016 is aligned with ISO9001:2015 and so cannot be implemented alone as a stand-alone document, but with ISO 9001:2015.
- 14th September 2018 is the last date when the validity of ISO/TS 16949:2009 certificate ends.
- No audits of ISO/TS 16949:2009 (initial, surveillance, recertification or transfer) will be possible and accepted from 1st October 2017.

You are missing the importance in describing the 21 you listed. They are not ‘procedures’ they are ‘processes.’ It is very important to understand the difference with regards to IATF requirements.
