River Vena and River Dham of Wardha District
To support Rally For Rivers myself with my family visited the two rivers in district Wardha of Maharashtra , India. First at Wunna or called as Vena in Hinganghat taluka and another is Dham river in Paunar on 10th September 2017. One can proudly say that India is a land of many rivers , but when we talk about the Rivers, first came in mind is River Ganga , a holy River Ganga , The mother Ganga . Alaknanda which starts from Gomukh caves in the Gangotri Glacier till Devprayag and turns Mandakini in Rudra Prayag.River Bhagirath enters at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. The confluence (संगम , Sangam) of Bhagirathi River and Alaknanda River at DevPrayag , is the begining of river Ganga. When in particular about Wardha district, there are eight rivers flowing and they are:- Wardha River
- Vena / Wunna River
- Dham River
- Pothra River
- Bor River
- Asoda River
- Bakli River
- Kar River
By the way , support of each one of us required.
