IATF 16949: 2016 — 21 Mandatory Procedure

SOME FACTS ABOUT IATF16949: 2016 IATF 16949:2016 was published by the “International Automotive Task Force ” (IATF) On October 3rd, 2016, supersedes and replaces the current ISO/TS 16949, defining the requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry.   auto-5
  1. IATF 16949:2016 is aligned with ISO9001:2015 and so cannot be implemented alone as a stand-alone document, but with ISO 9001:2015.
  2. 14th September 2018 is the last date when the validity of ISO/TS 16949:2009 certificate ends.
  3. No audits of ISO/TS 16949:2009 (initial, surveillance, recertification or transfer) will be possible and accepted from 1st October 2017.
